Add the kiosk in Mployr under Site Attendance, then enter its setup code on the tablet. It stays paired.

Setting up a kiosk? Here's what people ask.

What do we need to run Mployr Kiosk?
A tablet and an internet connection: an Android tablet with Android 7.0 or later, or an iPad using Safari. The kiosk is set up from your business's Mployr.
How do we set up a kiosk?
In Mployr, an administrator adds the kiosk under Time › Site Attendance › Kiosks and gets its setup code. Open Mployr Kiosk on the tablet (on an iPad, app.mployr.com.au/kiosk in Safari) and enter the code. The tablet stays paired from then on.
Does the kiosk need the internet?
Yes. The kiosk checks each PIN with Mployr as it's entered and records each clock in straight away, so it needs Wi-Fi or a mobile connection.
Are photos kept on the tablet?
No. When your business turns photos on, the kiosk takes the photo in memory and sends it to Mployr with the clock in. Nothing is saved on the tablet, and who can see the photos is set in Mployr.
How do we stop people leaving the kiosk?
Use screen pinning on Android or Guided Access on an iPad to keep the tablet on the kiosk. Mployr Kiosk keeps the screen on and fills it.
Can staff still use the Mployr app on their phones?
Yes. People can clock in at the kiosk or in the Mployr app on their phone, whichever suits the day. See the Mployr app.
How does the kiosk get updates?
When there's a new version, the kiosk shows a line under the names with an Update button. It stays paired through the update.
